Ian and Pia plan book launch for Frostbite: A Graphic Novel
In an Instagram post, Ian Boothby, along with Pia Guerra, announced the book launch of Frostbite: A Graphic Novel. The main event takes place on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30 pm at Iron Dog Books, 2671 E. Hasting St., Vancouver, British Columbia. &rew K plans for more Chicken Man adventures
In a podcast interview, &rew K promoted his newest Chicken Man vol. 2 comic collection now available on Kickstarter. During the conversion, he spoke about future plans that adventure-comedy story featuring the one and only Chicken Man.
True North Country Comics Podcast to exhibit at FAN EXPO Canada
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, attendees of FAN EXPO Canada need to make plans to seek out the Canadian Podcast Awards booth CZ13 between 6 pm to 7 pm to play comic book trivia with True North Country Comics Podcast. Taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, Level 800 in the Community Zone, contestants have the opportunity to win amazing comic books from exhibiting creators just by answering a skill-testing question. Get ready for some fun!
Rhael McGregor and Kristy Jackson are long listed for FNCR
In an Instagram post, Rhael McGregor revealed that the YA graphic novel she illustrated with writer Kristy Jackson, Touching Grass, has been long listed for the First Nationals Communities Readers Adult-YA list for 2026/2027. Awards will be handed out during First Nation Public Library Week on October 8 just in time for the new paperback edition of Touching Grass.
Renée Nault reveals inspiration for latest graphic novel
During a recent podcast interview about her latest graphic novel Salvage, Renée Nault pulled back the curtain about what inspired the story of her latest offering. Renée said that while living in Bangkok during her long rides on subways on trains she would pass by slums along the water and then the outside world would transition into more affluent neighbourhoods.
Tom Fowler to sign at Nefarious Comics
Ottawa, Ontario’s Nefarious Comics is the place to be today when Tom Fowler signs the just released EC Comic’s Shellshocked #1. Between 3 pm and 8 pm, Tom will be onsite to sign the latest issue along with his latest illustrations.
