Josh Rosen to lead drawing class in St. Catherines
In an Instagram post, St. Catherines Public Library revealed that Josh Rosen will offer a class about drawing especially related to his graphic novel work. The event is slated for Saturday, October 3, at 11 am at the public library in St. Catherines, Ontario.

Canadian creators participate in Brooklyn Book Fest
Brooklyn, New York plays host to the Brooklyn Book Fest offering attendees and lovers of books with spectacular reading treats. Notable Canadians exhibiting include:
– Jibola Fagbamiye with Fela: Music is the Weapon (published by HarperCollins)
– Renée Nault with Salvage (published by Ten Speed Press)

Michael Walsh to sign new Jonah Hex comic
On October 14, The Beguiling, in Toronto, Ontario, will play host to a special signing event with writer and artist Michael Walsh to mark the introduction of his new comic book Jonah Hex & The Shadow of Death #1. Michael will be available at the comic book store to sign the comic book and talk to attendees about the ‘terrifying new era of DC’s most infamous bounty hunter’.

Mark Bertolini announces new graphic novel
In a Threads post, Mark Bertolini revealed a new graphic novel slated for sale on November 23. Published by Markosia Enterprises, The Man Who Shook The Earth is illustrated by OtherComicsr42 and features the story of ‘the world’s first masked crimefighter.

Howard Wong offers insight into making Dying Samurai
In a podcast interview, Howard Wong chatted about making the new comic book Dying Samurai. He spoke about the detailed process of collaborating with artist Robin Ng and what art form inspired him to revisit a story he created as a teenager.

Renée Nault plans Salvage signing event
October 3 is the date when Renée Nault will bring her new graphic novel Salvage at OTSUKIMI Bunny Moon Market in Victoria, British Columbia. The 11 am to 4 pm event will feature a book release along with a book signing where all are invited to drop in.


Anoosha Syed to launch new book picture book
In an Instagram post, Anoosha Syed revealed plans to for a launch party about her new picture book Love In Every Language published by Penguin Kids.. Dar Cafe is the venue for the event located in Frisco, Texas with October 3 as the mentioned date.

Fred Kennedy plans to Escape From The North Pole
In an Instagram post, Fred Kennedy announced he’s continuing the story of Snake Plissken in Escape From New York: Escape From The North Pole from Mad Cave Studios. Featuring covers by Adam Gorham and Ken Lashley, the first issue is slated for sale on December 23.

Megan Kearney to sign Too Hot To Tango
The Beguiling in Toronto, Ontario will be the location for Megan Kearney’s signing of the new graphic novel Too Hot To Tango. Taking place on October 7th, the event will also feature a Q&A for the graphic novel described as ‘High School Musical meets Dirty Dancing’.
