Canadian comic book creators nominated for the 2022 Eisner Awards

Today the nominees were announced for the 2022 Eisner Awards and Canadians were among the many comic book creators. The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are considered the “Oscars” of the comics world. Named for the pioneering comics creator and graphic novelist Will Eisner, the awards are given out in 32 categories during a ceremony each year at Comic-Con International: San Diego. The nominees are chosen for works published between January 1 and December 31, 2021 and were selected by a blue-ribbon panel of judges. The Eisner Award trophies will be presented in a gala awards ceremony to be held during Comic-Con on the evening of July 22.
