François is a freelance cartoonist, illustrator, designer, and teacher (not necessarily in that order) living in Montréal, Québec. He’s the creator of the graphic novel TITAN, published in an updated English edition by Oni Press. TITAN was originally published in French by Éditions Pow Pow (May 2017). He’s also the co-creator of 13e Avenue, a YA comic book series created with Geneviève Pettersen and published by Éditions de la Pastèque. François’ comics and illustrations have appeared in publications such as Cayrels Ring, Planches, Papercutter, Kayak, and Study Group Magazine. His work has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Joe Shuster Award and the Prix des Collèges. His current project is Orcs In Space.

François is the co-host of the podcast Apples to Giraffes that’s all about the art of adaptation: the transmutation of novels into films, movies into comics, video games into TV shows, and anything else he wants to discuss.

François is a team member on the 2022 MCAF Programming Committee.
