On this episode, I chat with Sarajean Chung about her ongoing web comic Sunshine Through The Willow Tree and more in preparation for FAN EXPO Canada.
Based in Alberta, Sarajean Chung is a comic artist and illustrator who works with a wide range of mediums. She draws inspiration from eastern cultures, the histories, costumes from different eras, music and dance. Her current ongoing webcomic is Sunshine Through The Willow Tree. She’s also a tech evangelist and can often be seen at trade shows and events demonstrating Wacom products.
The story of Sunshine Through The Willow Tree goes like this: ‘A Human warlord’s fast rise to power rattles the world ruled by five Demi-Gods, pulling a blacksmith and his mysterious companion into the heart of chaos.’ It begins with ‘a prophecy depicting ruins. As a result, the Demi-God of Nor’tor Kingdom issues an arrest warrant for every scar bearer within its walls. When two scarred men cross paths, the wheel of fate shall spin its course.’
