Ryan is cartoonist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. With a diploma in Visual Communications from Medicine Hat College (Medicine Hat, AB), he puts his education to use in the field of graphic and web design. Ryan’s previous comics include Gun Street Girl, written and created by Barb Lien-Cooper, distributed through the Graphic Smash comics portal in 2003; Henchmen (Robot Paper), Jurassic Strike Force Five (Zenescope), Yva Starling: Troubleshooter (RSquared Studios), and Captain Flynt and the Corsairs of the Seven Systems (Robot Paper). His ongoing series is Daisy Blackwood: Pilot for Hire.

Daisy Blackwood: Pilot For Hire is a series that often deals with bank robbers, air pirates, and the police as pilot Daisy Blackwood has to solve mysteries and fend off bad guys. The ongoing series is a loving tribute to the original pulp serials full of high adventure, exotic locales, and daring deeds. Unlike the old serials, however, each Daisy Blackwood book contains a complete adventure, allowing it to stand on its own apart from other volumes in the series.
