Kamloops comic book store in the spotlight
InfoNews.ca wrote about High Octane Comics & Collectibles a comic book store in Kamloops, British Columbia as it appeals to a new comic book fans. Store manager Nick Klie spoke about how more young people visiting the store seeking something beyond screens of social media. Additionally, he spoke about his fourth comic book entitled Life the Necopolis, Six Doomwrecked Knights 

Marianne Boucher plans for graphic novel workshop

In an Instagram post, Marianne Boucher revealed she will be leading a graphic novel workshop on April 11 at the Chapel Gallery in Bracebridge, Ontario. Listed as a one-time event for ages 13 and up, Marianne will explore what makes graphic novels unique as a storytelling medium.

Emila Strilchuk talks about being herself
CBC Arts interviewed Emilia Strilchuk about her recent success with her non-fiction graphic novel and more. Emilia spoke about the challenge of putting her own story in the public along with how creating comics supports the cathartic process.

Panel One Comic Arts Festival exhibitor registration now open
On its website, Panel One Comic Arts Festival announced that table registration for exhibitors is now open. The event will take place on Saturday, June 6 at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association in Calgary, Alberta.
