2025 Ringo Award nominees announced
The 2025 Ringo Award nominees were revealed this week with the awards to be announced at this year’s Baltimore Comic Con on October 18 in Baltimore, Maryland. The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity, skill and fun of comics. Among the many comic book professionals are the following Canadian, or Canadian related nominees:
– Mikaël in the Best Cartoonist (Writer and Artist) category
– Francine Delgado in the Best Cover Artist category
– Jim Zub, Richard Pace, Card Nord, Nick Marinkovich plus others for The Savage Sword of Conan (published by Titan Comics) in the Best Anthology category
– Cassandra Calin for The New Girl: A Graphic Novel (published by Scholastic) in the Best Kids or Graphic Novel category
– Bryan Lee O’Malley for Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary Hardcover Box Set (published by Oni Press) in the Best Presentation in Design category

Fred Kennedy takes to writing for Samurai Pizza Cats
