CBR published a list of the 10 Best Horror Graphic Novels to Read on a Dark and Stormy Night and Canadian creators made the list including:

Jim Zub spills the beans on Free Comic Book Day 2025

Canadians nominated for 2024 Cheersie Awards
The Nerd Initiative announced the nominees for the 2024 Cheersie Awards — the annual comic book award show that celebrates the ‘best of the best’ from the past 12 months. Voting ends on December 3 at 9 pm ET and the award show is slated to air on December 30th at 8 pm ET. Canadian creators have the honour of being nominated in various categories, including:

Todd McFarlane slated to return to Spawn in 2025

Kate Beaton’s Ducks continues to win accolades
Quill & Quire wrote that Kate Beaton has won the Jan Michalski Prize for Literature for her 2022 graphic memoir Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands. The annual Swiss literary prize recognizes outstanding works of world literature in any genre and Kate is the first Canadian to win the prize since the competition began in 2010.
