CBC Books offers list of 12 graphic novels for the summer
This past week, CBC Books published a list of 12 graphic novels to ‘get lost in’ for the summer. They include:

Jim Zub signs multi-year deal for Conan
On his website, Jim Zub announced that he’s signed a multi-year deal with Heroic Signatures to keep writing the Conan the Barbarian monthly title and related narrative development. Jeff Lemire goes All-In for new JSA comic
Head Topics reported that Jeff Johns, along with artist Diego Olortegui, will head up a new Justice Society of America series. The new book will feature a classic version of the team along with Infinity Inc. The series is set to launch from DC Comics in November. Canadians win Eisner awards
CBC reported on the 2024 Will Eisner Comic Industry awards that were handed out at Comic-Con San Diego. Canadians who received trophies included:
– Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki won for Best Graphic Album with Roaming
– Mariko Tamaki won for Best Writer with Roaming
– Jillian Tamaki won for Best Penciller/Inker with Roaming
– Ryan North won for Best Publication for Teens with Danger and Other Unknown Risks
