Jillian Tamaki to be featured at Children’s Literature Conference
Western Washington University announced that both Jillian Tamaki will be featured speaker at Western’s 21st Annual Children’s Literature Conference. The conference brings together teachers, librarians, readers, and writers to celebrate children and young adult literature. Business Insider published a comic that recollects “the female platoon that tried to save Afghanistan’s women”. Written by Anthony Del Col and illustrated by Sanya Anwar, the comic involves what happens when the female platoon formed by the army of Afghanistan. Canadian creators gear up for Angoulême International Comics Festival
On his Instagram feed, Don Sparrow posted that he’ll be joining the other Canadian graphic novelists who’ll be exhibiting at the event from January 25 to 28 at the Angoulême International Comics Festival.
