Mississauga artist creates comics out of cardboard
Insauga.com reported that Luanga (Lue) Nuwame, a Mississauga-based comic book writer has released a colour version of his four-part series Paper Rock Scissors N’ Stuff Wars on Amazon. Nuwame talks about how he got into comics books along with his collaborations with other creators. Jillian Tamaki talks about writing

Writers offered a new digital typewriter from Astrohaus
The Verge wrote that Astrohaus will offer the new Freewrite Alpha starting in mid-January at a cost of USD $349. The article mentions that the “Wi-Fi-enabled typewriter is free of distractions like web browsers and emails to help you focus on writing. Kate Beaton’s Ducks tops Canadian books of 2023
CBC Books published an article listing the top 10 Canadian books of 2023 based on input from independent bookstores in which Kate Beaton’s Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands took the top spot. Chip Zdarsky responsible for majority of top selling comic books of 2023
Bleeding Cool reported that among the top ten best-selling comic books of 2023, Chip Zdarsky wrote six of them. Based on sales data from comic book stores in North America and the UK, Chip wrote Batman #131 to #136.
