Emmanuelle Châteauneuf is a Filippino-French Canadian graphic novelist and comics creator who grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and now resides in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2017, she produced her graphic novel Queen Street with Chapterhouse Publishing and also contributed to Captain Canuck Season 3 that same year. In 2018, Emmanuelle provided artwork for Wayward Sisters: An Anthology of Monstrous Women. Her zine The Same Rainbow’s End won the 2022 Best Fan Zine award from Broken Pencil. She also participated in Frankenstein Visions from Slampress Tomes. Emmanuelle has had the honour of having been featured at this year’s TING Fest in London, Ontario. Her most recent work includes Princess Bunyi and TSRE Origins.

TSRE Origins offers Emmanuelle’s take on the Lois and Superman myths. Available in zine formats, these works, described as DC Comics fan fiction, are written and illustrated by Emmanuelle. The series delves into the psyche of each character while showcasing how they perceive themselves in today’s modern culture as crafted by Emmanuelle who offers her own unique take on the popular DC characters found in today’s comic books.
