The AV Club published comments from Todd McFarlane as he answered the question as to whether indie comics publishers can survive rising prices. Canadian creators take part in DC’s 2025 Compact Comics titles
DC Comics issued a press release announcing the lineup of DC Compact Comics for 2025. Canadian creators are in the lineup, including:
– Aug 5, 2025 – DC: The New Frontier: DC Compact Comics Edition by Darwyn Cooke
– Oct 31, 2025 – Y: The Last Man Book One: DC Compact Comics Edition by Pia Guerra, Brian K. Vaughan, and José Marzán Jr.
Additionally, previously release titles are getting second printing including:
– Dec 10, 2024 – Far Sector: DC Compact Comics Edition by Jamal Campbell and N.K. Jemisin

Waterloo creators plan for WWII graphic novel
Waterloo Region Record interviewed Alaire and Toben Racicot about an upcoming graphic novel WWII soldier.
