Gisèle is a comic artist and writer. Her currently work includes Ménage à 3 for Pixie Trix/Udon and Exorsisters for Image Comics. Her previous efforts include Archie Meets Ramones, a Betty Boop mini for Dynamite, Jem and the Holograms for IDW, a lot of cover artwork and many webcomics.
During chat, Gisèle talked about the creative process with Ian Boothby when creating Exorsisters and the future plans for the series. She commented on the coincidence of the timing of Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with the Exorsisters series. Gisèle also explained what’s happening with Ménage à 3 and her plans for future volumes. She talked about her comic book influences including Archie, Sabrina, anime and more including the Candy, Candy TV series from Quebec. Gisèle discussed her creative process including the Clip Studio application and her move away from Wacom tablets.

The nominations for the Canadian Independent Comic Book Wiki Awards were announced and I was surprised to see this podcast listed among the nominees such as An Elegant Weapon, Cloudscape Comics’s Trade Waiters, The Hey Kids Comics Radio Show, Radio Free Krypton, and Speech Bubble, I really do mean it when I say, it truly is an honour just to be nominated.
