Today the focus is on Gisèle Lagacé.

Gisèle is a comic artist and writer. Her currently work includes Ménage à 3 for Pixie Trix/Udon and Exorsisters for Image Comics. Her previous efforts include Archie Meets Ramones, a Betty Boop mini for Dynamite, Jem and the Holograms for IDW, a lot of cover artwork and many webcomics.

Exosisters has been a great hit for Gisèle along with writer Ian Boothby. The title has been well received and continues to be a fan favourite.

Before her work in comics, Gisèle was a graphic designer who worked at Avenue Design Group in Ottawa, creating logos, layout ads for newspapers and design work.

What many people don’t know is that she was also the bassist in the Quebec all-girl band, Barbarella.

Gisèle will be showcasing her comic book work at many events this year including Geequinox Spring 2019 from April 19-21 and New York Comic Con from October 3 to 6
