New horror story announcement from Eric Olcsvary
In an Instagram post, Eric Olcsvary announced a forthcoming horror story to be published in March. Eric’s art along with story by Larry Brooks Stahl entitled ‘In A Pinch’ is planned for inclusion in Horror Comics Leprechauns #1 to be published by Antarctic Press.

Jimmy Suzan in the spotlight
CBC News reported on Jimmy Suzan, a Montreal-based creator. In the video, Jimmy offers details about his new graphic novel Migrasyon that focuses on his family’s immigration story as Haitian immigrants in the 1970s living in Montreal.

Canadian creators make list for best comic book miniseries of the year
Bam! Smack! Pow! published their list of best comic book miniseries for 2025 and Canadian creators are featured. Notables include:
– Faith Erin Hicks for Universal Monsters: The Mummy
– Valentine De Landro for Mr. Terrific: Year One
– Jamal Campbell for Zatanna

Jack Briglio’s ThunderBoom recognized by Parents
Parents.com published an article entitled ’12 Books for Kids That Celebrate and Uplift People With Disabilities’ and included ThunderBoom by Jack Briglio, illustrated by Claudia Dávila. The writeup refers to the book as ‘ideal for reluctant readers and provides a realistic portrayal of how nonverbal individuals communicate through signs and body language’.

The Hollywood Reporter published a list of the best comic books and graphic novels of 2025 and Canadians made the list. Notables include:
