Canadians win at the Ringo Awards 2024
AIPT Comics reported about the recent Baltimore Comic-Con where accolades were handed out to winners of the 2024 Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards. Canadians who won this year’s Ringo Awards included:
– Mariko Tamaki for Best Writer
– Richard Stark’s Parker: The Complete Collection from IDW Publishing which won for Presentation in Design – original work by Darwyn Cooke
– J. Torres, Megan Huang and others for Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries in the Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel category

Tripwire Magazine announced the nominees for the 2024 Tripwire Awards. Canadians on the list include:
– Jim Zub for Conan The Barbarian from Titan Comics in the Best Writer category and for Conan The Barbarian in the Best New Series category
– Jeff Lemire, Tate Brombal and others for The World of Black Hammer: Omnibus Vol. 3 from Dark Horse Comics in the Best Collection category
– J. Torres, Megan Huang and others for Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries from DC Comics in the Best Humour Comic category
