Jason Loo and Adam Gorham team up for Werewolf By Night
Marvel reported that Jason Loo and Adam Gorham have been tapped to produce Werewolf By Night: Blood Hunt #1. In the article, Jason relates his desire to write the macabre and a scary tale in the Marvel universe. The gruesome issue is scheduled to go on sale July 3.

Tate Brombal makes writing debut for Marvel in upcoming wedding issue
Marvel announced that X-Men: The Wedding Special will feature the writing debut of Tate Brombal as part of the Marvel’s Voices: Pride series. Tate will join other creators in the Marvel one shot just in time for the spring wedding season destined for stores open May 29. Kate Beaton to provide lecture at University of Alberta in March
The University of Alberta announced that Kate Beaton is the guest lecturer to discuss class and its influence on the Arts in Canada. Graphic novels in the running for Libby Book Awards
Quill & Quire listed the five Canadian books that among the finalists for the Libby Book Awards — nominated by a panel of librarians and voted on by librarians across North America. The graphic novels being considered include:
– A Guest In The House by Emily Carroll
– Roaming by Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki

EC Comics comes back from the dead with the help of Canadian creators
Fangoria reported that Oni Press plans to revive the once-dead line of books from EC Comics. Starting in July, new titles will appear featuring the creative efforts by many including Cecil Castellucci, Jay Stephens and Zac Thompson. Ed Brisson returns to Oshawa for his new title The Displaced
