In celebration of the comic book creators exhibiting at the 2022 Toronto Comic Arts Festival, here’s my chat with Nathan Schreiber about his Science Ninjas graphic novels. This podcast is available on Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. And the podcast is also available on YouTube. Please like and subscribe to that video channel.
Currently residing in London, Ontario, Nathan has been drawing comics his whole life. His indie comic Power Out won a Xeric award in 2009 and was nominated for an Eisner in 2010. He illustrated the New York Times #1 best-selling graphic novel Health Care Reform in 2011. In 2019 he published the first Science Ninjas graphic novel Big Trouble with Simple Machines, followed by the first book in the Valence Chemistry Trilogy in 2021 described as a mix of Shonen mania and hard science.
