MCAF 2022: Group of 7 Comics creators, Chris Sanagan and Jason Lapidus, talk about their new books at the 2022 Montreal Comic Arts Festival

In celebration of the 2022 Montreal Comic Arts Festival (MCAF), here’s my chat with Chris Sanagan and Jason Lapidus about Group of 7 comics. Based in Ontario, Chris is the writer and Jason is the illustrator for their current work Group of 7. The ongoing series is set in the The First World War in which Canadian physician John McCrae leads a secret mission underneath the Ridge against a mysterious enemy with monstrous intentions. Group of 7: A Most Secret Tale was nominated for Best Graphic Novel at the 2020 Sequential Magazine Awards. They also created Peregrines featuring front line nurses doing double duty as home front defenders as they fight in the shadows to protect Canada from threats unbelievable and unknown.
