Gibson is a comic book artist /illustrator working out of the RAID Studio in Toronto. He is best known for illustration work on THE WAR ON DRUGS strips with writer Alan Grant in the European magazine WASTED. Gibson is the regular artist on the Organ Grinder stories in the UNDERTOW Comic from 7th Wave. He has worked for a number of other books and publishers, such as Dynamite Entertainment, CAPTAIN CANUCK, HEROES OF THE NORTH and numerous other European magazines like Frogman, Northern Lightz, and FutureQuake.
During chat, Gibson talked about advice he provides to up-and-coming artists. He discussed his artstyle that combines both traditional and digital.

Here’s some of the current news about Canadian comic book creators and supporters.
The Hollywood Reporter published an article about Valiant Entertainment’s ‘Breakthrough’ – four new comic books launching in the first half of 2019. Adam Gorham, who I’ve interviewed recently, will join up with Cullen Bunn on Punk Mambo that’s described as a supernatural voodoo horror. This April-slated first issue of five will dovetail nicely with Adam’s work on Jughead: The Hunger. You can read more at HollywoodReporter.com

Adventures in Poor Taste! reported on a new series starting in March from Chip Zdarsky and Mark Bagley called Spider-Man: Life Story that will encompass the entire life history as he ages in real-time since his spider bite in the 1960s.
