Here’s my chat with Sam Noir at the launch event for CAULDRON – a comics magazine of supernatural tales at Paradise Comics in Toronto. Podcast is available on iTunes.
Sam is a writer, cartoonist, and toymaker. His credits include the Chapterhouse Summer Special cover featuring Captain Canuck and the Pitiful Human Lizard, he has contributed to Steampunk Originals from Arcana, Monstrosity from Alterna, Cerebus Low Society, Hogtown Horror, Toronto Comics, Strange Romance and is the co-creator of indie comics such as Munchsters, Victorian Four, Holmes vs Moriarty, Zip Kramer, and Major North. I interviewed Sam last year at the Barrie Public Library Comic Con.
During our chat, Sam talked about how he and co-editors Ricky Lima and Shane Heron created CAULDRON. Sam also chatted about the inspiration for the supernatural publication plus he discussed how the various artists contributed to the effort.
Sam explained that CAULDRON is a high quality, full colour comics anthology in magazine format, featuring supernatural tales for a mature audience.

I specifically want to highlight that Sam provided some exclusive tidbits about the yet-to-be-published follow up issue of CAULDRON along with a CAULDRON-specific artshow in Toronto during our discussion so I definitely encourage you to listen to the podcast for the reveals.
