Ray Jamison talks about his new Kickstarter project ‘The Madcaps’

Here’s my chat with Ray Jamison about his new comic book series The Madcaps on Kickstarter.

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ray Jamison is a comic creator and writer, who reflects on his journey into the world of comics, the influence of Dungeons & Dragons on his storytelling, and the importance of community in the comic book industry. His current project is The Madcaps comic book series supported by Kickstarter.

The Madcaps is a medieval fantasy miniseries described as a story of a brawny intellectual, a devout farmer, a good-hearted charlatan, and a social facilitator; this circle of friends shall reunite in their hometown, Ivywood. Before they can depart for employment, they are interrupted by a local drug problem which carries hidden, sinister, undertones. Can they survive the night, and what is the source of this danger? The bond amongst these friends may be the only metric to answer such questions.
