Francine Delgado prepares for NYCC 2024

New York Comic Con is the United State’s East Coast’s largest pop culture convention and the only one that takes place in the comic book, publishing, media, and licensing capital of the world — New York City. From meeting celebrities to surprise appearances, to the top anime, cosplay, and gaming stars, and of course, comic book creators from every corner of the globe … it’s got a little of something for everyone to enjoy.

Francine Delgado is a Costa Rican artist who also resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 2014, she’s been working in the animation industry as a character artist for feature film and television at work place. Francine’s projects have included ‘The Addams Family’, ‘Megaman’, ‘Fully Charged Monster High’, ‘Boo York Monster High’, and ‘Scarier Reef’. She was also the artist on three Canadian graphic novels USNA II ( books 1, 2 and 3 ). Francine’s first co-creation “The Comet, Combustion” was published at New York Comicon in 2017 by Insight Comics. Francine’s most recent work can be found on the covers of Gatchaman, Flash Gordon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Her artwork can also be found in the comic book series Blood of Atlantis written by Jon Auerbach.
