Canadians announced for new Oni Press miniseries
ICv2 reported that Oni Press announced new miniseries beginning in December. Jill and the Killers, launching in January 2024, will feature covers by Sanya Anwar and Marguerite Sauvage. MCAF makes statement about AI
On the LinkedIn site, Mélanie La Roche, Executive Director of the Montreal Comic Arts Festival issued a statement about the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence). She said that art created by AI will be not considered for the Bédélys Awards. Scott Pilgrim celebrates 20th anniversary in style
Gizmodo.com published an article about Oni Press revealing two hardcover releases for Scott Pilgrim created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. In conjunction with the pending release of ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ for Netflix, Oni Press said the books will be available in 2024 for the 20th anniversary of the title. Canadians featured in new creator-owned and cooperative media company

The end in sight for The All-Nighter
Dark Horse and ComiXology announced the third and final season of The All-Nighter from Chip Zdarsky, Jason Loo, Paris Alley, Frank Cvetkovic and Allison O’Toole. With season 3 released monthly from Amazon’s ComiXology Originals with issue #11 debuting on October 31, 2023, the print version with be published by Dark Horse Books in November 2024.

Bad Egg publisher expands content with Canadian artist

New DC Elseworld’s title reimagines Green Lantern with Canadian writer
Screen Rant wrote that Tate Brombal will write DC’s Green Lantern: Dark as a return to the Elseworlds line in 2024.
