Last week the Toronto Public Library was host to hundreds of comic book and graphic novel creators and publishers showcasing entertaining and educational books and art from around the world. Along with Canada, artists travelled from all over the globe to participate in the 2022 Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) including Brazil, China, Columbia, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Taiwan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Vietnam, and many more.
In addition to showcasing hundreds of artists’ work, TCAF also featured panel discussions, a virtual marketplace, talks, Q&As, workshops, kids-specific programming, signings and much more.
To give you just a brief glimpse of the show, this YouTube video provides an overview of just some of the many exhibitors who participated in 2022 TCAF.
You can also hear a podcast of the brief interviews on Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
You can discover more about 2022 TCAF at TorontoComics.com and on YouTube.
With this much to see and do, it’s no wonder comic book and graphic novel creators are eager for 2023 TCAF to celebrate 20 years of festival enjoyment.
