Canadian comic book creators pay tribute to the legendary Neal Adams

Today the comic book world lost another legendary creator. Neal Adams, noted for many, many amazing works of comic book art, passed away at the age of 80. Check out the article at The Hollywood Reporter for more details.

Like other comic book convention goers, I had the privilege of brief conversations with Neal when he visited Toronto. I remember congratulating him on the heroic efforts he took on to return the industry recognition to Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Without taking any credit, he hinted there was more to the story in a way only that Neal could convey.

Although his absence will be felt at many upcoming comic book conventions, we’ll always have his inspiring art to admire for decades to come.
