Alfonso at MCX 2018

Alfonso is an award-winning Canadian comic book creator and illustrator. He is the founder of Studiocomix Press where he is the project’s chief editor.

During chat, Alfonso shared his thoughts on the first-year anniversary of the Studiocomix Press location in Kitchener and the celebrations for the event. I apologize for not getting to this interview prior to the big anniversary event but Alfonso detailed all the activities that attendees experienced. For up-and-coming creators, Alfonso shares some truly heartfelt advice that is definitely worth a listen.

GeekMom published an article about Exorsisters with the title “Proof you’re not parenting as badly as you think”. The series, written by Ian Boothby and illustrated by Gisèle Lagacé, gives parents a nice compliment “Having a crap day, and feeling grouchy? Flop on the couch or bed for as long as it takes to read Exorsisters #1 & Exorsisters #2. Then get up, hug your kid, and get back in that parenting ring. You are awesome!”
