Mallory is the Community Engagement Librarian at the Whitby Public Library in Whitby, Ontario.

During our chat, Mallory talked about the origin of the Whitby Comic Art Festival and why it matters to young and old alike. Mallory also explained the benefit of having comic books in libraries and how the books lead readers to other types of literature.

The Telegram published an interview with Toronto’s Paul Soles who voiced Peter Parker and Spider-Man for the animated series from 1967 to 1970. He claimed that that he never considered himself a superhero or thought about he would sound but he understood how teenager would feel being an outsider amongst his peers.
