Megan Kearney chats with True North Country Comics about princesses, comic books and more at MCX 2018

Here’s my chat with Megan Kearney at Mississauga Comics Expo 2018. Podcast is available on Apple Podcasts.

Megan Kearney - MCX 2018

Megan is a sequential artist and writer. In addition to her award-winning adaptation of Beauty and The Beast, Megan is a regular contributor to the Disney Princess series and manages Toronto-based Comic Book Embassy, an energetic co-work studio that is home to some of the city’s top indie talent.

I recently spoke with Megan at the Word on the Street festival in Toronto. Prior to that Megan joined up with Hope Nicholson at San Diego Comic Con to promote Hit Reblog: Comics That Caught Fire from Comixology.

During our chat, Megan talked about her upcoming projects including a special project with writer Conor McCreery from Kill Shakespeare. Megan also offered her view on the current discussion regarding the portrayal of Disney Princesses in movies.
