Here’s my interview comic book creator and chief editor of Studio Comix Press, Alfonso Espinos.
I first met Alfonso at Fan Expo 2017 where he introduced me to the world of Canadian independent comic books. In between his tireless work to create the new studio based in Kitchener, Ontario, Alfonso and Studio Comix Press have appeared at countless comic book events over the past few months including MCX 2017, Barrie Comic Con, GTA Comic Con and on and on.
In fact, Alfonso has played a very important part in many of the independent comic book creators featured on True North Country Comics including Stephany Lein, Sam Noir, Dan Collins and many, many more.
For this podcast, I had the great honour to meet with Alfonso at the new Studio Comix Press store. During our chat, Alfonso provides an introduction to the store’s services while providing valuable insight for up-and-coming comic book creators.
