Interview with Chris Sanagan and Jason Lapidus at the 2017 Whitby Comics Art Festival

Here’s my chat with Chris Sanagan and Jason Lapidus at the 2017 Whitby Comics Arts Festival.

Chris is the writer and Jason is the artist on the Group of 7 comic an ongoing series set in the The First World War in which Canadian physician John McCrae leads a secret mission underneath the Ridge against a mysterious enemy with monstrous intentions. To succeed, he’ll need a group of unique soldiers.

During our chat, Chris talks about his love of history and comic books plus what it took to publish and promote the independent comic book. Jason talks about how he researched the specific time period for the comic book and what they’re planning for the future.
