In celebration of the comic book creators who were planning to exhibit at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival 2020, here’s my chat with Alexander Finbow of Renegade Arts Entertainment. The podcast is available on Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
Alexander is the publisher at Renegade Arts Entertainment, a comic and graphic novel publishing company in Alberta. He is a founding member of Panel One as well as President of the Book Publishers Association of Alberta. He has been lucky enough to collaborate with a wide number of artists so far, including Nyco Rudolph for When Big Bears Invade, William Simpson for Shades of Grey, Claude St. Aubin for The Loxleys and Confederation, Al Davison for Blood Light and many more. As a publisher, he is increasingly looking for stories with a distinct voice, stories that are different from what is already out there.
