Allison describes herself as a freelance comic editor, sometimes Internet writer, and lover of monsters and dogs. Allison is also the editor of Wayward Sisters: An Anthology of Monstrous Women. Previously, Allison has edited Toronto Comics Anthology Volume 3.

Wayward Sisters

During our discussion, Allison talks about how she became an editor and what an editor does. She also talks about her current project Wayward Sisters: An Anthology of Monstrous Women. She talks about the publishing process and the ups and downs that typically go with the Kickstarter method of publishing. Additionally, Allison offers the reason for her affinity for monsters and most especially Frankenstein’s monster.
