These podcasts are published to celebrate the exhibitors of this year’s virtual edition of the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. TCAF is an annual event gathering comic book creators from around the world to promote broad and diverse voices towards the betterment of the medium of comics through panels, keynote exclusives and just basically enjoying the fun of comics.
Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Samantha is an Animation & Graphics honours graduate and is the writer and illustrator for the Will Not Bow series. In addition to working as a clean up animator, she is planning on a series for WebToons in the near future. Samantha worked with Dynamite Entertainment on a special project.
Will Not Bow is a mature, fantasy story about a princess named Zahra who was born with light and dark magic. As she struggles to get control of her power, she is also dealing with the coldness towards her from her father and people because she is an outcast and a danger to them all.
