While the first day of Comic-Con @Home traditionally starts off slowly, there were some notable events.

Although not actually part of the Comic-Con @Home, the cast of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs The World’ had a table reading along with the comic book creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. During the session, Bryan drew several scenes from the movie that were auctioned off to raise funds for Water for People, a global nonprofit that provides communities with sanitation solutions and clean water.
