Focus on Becka Kinzie

Throughout the month of March, True North North Country Comics features female comic book creators and supporters to celebrate International Women’s Day.


Today the focus is on Becka Kinzie.

Becka is a freelance artist, colour flatter and colourist from Southwest Ontario. She also creates her own horror/darkly inclined comics and art, the most current is entitled Gehenna: Death Valley.

Fresh back from exhibiting her works at a major Toronto comic show, Becka talked about the plans for Gehenna: Death Valley and the upcoming SCIENCE! graphic novel. She also spoke about what International Women’s Day means to her and how her Great Grandmother influences her even today.
