Jenn is the proprietor of The Dragon — a specialty comic book and games store located in Southern Ontario. The Dragon has received numerous awards including the prestigious Will Eisner Spirit of Retailing Award, an international award given to a retailer who has done an outstanding job of supporting the comic art medium both in the community and within the industry at large based on selections from around the world.

Jenn has featured on this site in an article from last year:

To mark the special 20 year anniversary celebration of The Dragon, the store featured a mini-convention of many talented Canadian comic book creators and cosplayers. In a podcast interview, Jenn commented on the reason behind the success of the store while addressing criticism about the status of the comic book industry.

Jenn also took time out of her schedule last year to moderate the Meet The Makers Panel featuring comic book creators from the Southern Ontario region. Her expertise in the comic book field helped bring the best out of the panelists who explained the craft of their creations and approaches to the subject matter.

In addition to managing two locations of The Dragon, Jenn has received the special distinction of being chosen as one of the six comics expert judges for the 2019 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. As a critical member of the blue-ribbon committee, Jenn will help select the nominations to appear on the Eisner Awards ballot.awards_banner_v2
