Today, DC Entertainment unveiled details about their young reader imprints called DC Zoom and DC Ink to be launched spring 2019.
Created for readers aged 8 to 12, the DC Zoom titles will focus on stories about friends, family and growing up. The line will debut in April 2019 with Super Sons: The Polarshield Project, followed in May 2019 with DC Super Hero Girls: Space Out illustrated by Agnes Garbowska. The two other titles are Batman: Overdrive set for August 2019 and Black Canary: Ignite in October 2019.
DC Ink will be created for young adult readers aged 13 and up with thought provoking tales that centre on everyday aspirations, struggles and triumphs. The first of the line Mera: Tidebreaker debuts in April 2019 followed by Under The Moon: A Catwoman Tale in May 2019. Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass is set for June 2019 and will be written by Mariko Tamaki. The remaining title Teen Titans: Raven is planned for July 2019.
