Publishers Weekly reported that ‘The Ojja-Wojja: A Teen Horror Mystery or Whatever, You Know?’ by Jenn St-Onge and Magdalene Visaggio will be published by Balzer+Bray spring 2021
Chip Zdarsky signed a deal to be exclusive with Marvel Entertainment. No further details emerged other than that Zdarsky will write Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #1 and Marvel 2-in-One Annual #1.
Over the weekend, Little Island Comics celebrated their re-opening with a launch party featuring Scott Chantler, Tory Woollcott, Brian McLachlan, Ryan North, Naseem Hrab, Andrew Wheeler, Josh Holinaty, Keen Soo, and Britt Wilson. You can expect a one-on-one interview with store proprietor Andrew Woodrow-Butcher in the coming days so stay tuned.
Jeff Lemire made the news yet again. This time he won the 2018 Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television for the Donald Brittain Award for Best Social/Political Documentary Program along with the late Gord Downie for ‘The Secret Path’.
